Launched in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Peugeot 108 was a direct replacement for the 107, and like its predecessor, was a joint venture with Toyota and included the Citroen C1.
All 3 vehicles share the same chassis, power trains and electronics. Sales commenced in June 2014 in Mainland Europe and would hit UK showrooms in July 2014.
Since launch, the 108 has sold in Tens of thousands and quickly became one of our most requested "City Cars".
With a choice of 2 Petrol Engines and an Automatic Transmission available, the interior is far more roomy, has more equipment and is still available with 3 or 5 doors.
Peugeot topped the JD Power Vehicle Dependability Survey rankings and the 108 was the third most reliable city car after the Volkswagen Up and Hyundai i10.
Euro NCAP has never tested the 108, but correctly judged it to be the same as the Toyota Aygo in 2014 so awarded it four stars.
