Sitting nicely between the Kodiaq and Kamiq, and replacing the much lamented Yeti, the Skoda Karoq is built on VW's MQB platform, its siblings include VW Tiguan, T-Roc and Seat Ateca. First launched in 2017, the Karoq has become one of the fastest selling vehicles in its sector. Praised for its good looks, excellent ride, and the quality of the fit and finish of the interior, as well as equipment levels, that would make many other sector competitors blush with embarrassment, it's easy to understand how this success story has come to fruition. Engine choices include a 1 Litre 3 cylinder or 1.5 4 cylinder Evolution Petrol (both of which are Turbo Charged, and are DRY BELT DRIVEN) there is also a 1.6 or 2.0 Litre (ULEV Compliant) TDi Diesel, which offers up to 60mpg average, if you're needing a little more Torque. We dearly miss the Yeti, rugged, dependable, with loads of room, and it could be turned into a van in under 2 minutes.
